DAY 01: Arrive Chennai

Arrive Chennai airport/railway station, meet our representative & transfer to the hotel. This metropolis is often called the cultural capital of India for its deep-rooted traditions and long heritage. Chennai is a city younger than its image. More than any other city in India, it is a true reflection of this country’s diversity. On arrival check in at the hotel. Visit Fort St. George, constructed in 1653 during the British ruling period in India; St. Mary’s Church (the oldest Anglican Church in India); Kapaliswara Temple and Sri Parthasarathy Temple built by Pallavas in the 8th century AD. Evening relax at the Marina Beach. Return to the hotel for overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 02: Chennai – Mahabalipuram

After breakfast proceed to Mahabalipuram. It is famous for its beautiful beach & the old age temple which reflect the Dravidian art & architect. Mahabalipuram holds its own, and stands as a silent yet eloquent witness to the glory of its creators. Arrive & check in to the hotel. Relax for some time & then proceed to explore the beautiful temples of Mahabalipuram. Visit Caves, Krishna Mandapam, Fiverathas, The shore Temple, Arjuna Penance. Return to the hotel. Evening relax at the beautiful beach. Overnight stay at the Mahabalipuram .

DAY 03: Mahabalipuram & Pondicherry

Today after breakfast you will check out from hotel & transfer to Pondicherry. Enroute visit the beautiful Kanchipuram. On arrival check into the hotel. Evening is free for relax or take a walk on the street of Pondicherry. Stay overnight at the hotel, Pondicherry.

DAY 04: Pondicherry

Depart from Havelock Island in the afternoon and transfer to Port Blair. Stay overnight in Port Blair.

DAY 05: Pondicherry – Tiruchchirappalli

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel & proceed to Tiruchchirappalli. On arrival at Tiruchchirappalli check into the hotel. Later we proceed to see Grand Anaicut – A popular picnic spot and must-see is the engineering marvel – the only stone dam in the world, the 300 m long Kallanai Dam. Also visit the Rockfort Temple, Ranganathaswamy Temple, Jambukeshwara Temple. Stay overnight at the Tiruchchirappalli.

DAY 06: Tiruchchirappalli & Thanjavur – Tiruchchirappalli

Today after breakfast we will proceed for the excursion tour of Tanjavur. This is a glimpse of an ancient structure in every corner, built lovingly by the Cholas, Nayaks and Marathas. Not just rulers, they were great patrons of art and culture – this explains the presence of over 44,000 palm leaf manuscripts. Visit Sri Brihadeeswarar Temple, Mariamman Temple, Mariamman Temple, Schwartz Church, & Sivagangai Garden. Return to Tiruchchirappalli for overnight stay.

DAY 07: Tiruchchirappalli – Rameshwaram

After breakfast check out from hotel & proceed to Rameshwaram. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later Ramanathaswamy Temple, Gandhamadana Parvatam. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

DAY 08: Rameshwaram – Madurai

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel & transfer to Madurai. One of the oldest Indian cities and a great temple town. Deriving its name from the divine nectar that is believed to have dripped from Shiva’s matted locks Madurai is home to the celebrated Meenakshi Temple that was the site of one of the grandest celestial wedding. Later proceed to visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Mahal, Mariamman Teppakulam. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 09: Madurai & Kanyakumari

After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari is the southernmost point of peninsular India and the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Besides its importance as a Hindu pilgrim center, it is famous for its beautiful views of sunrise and sunset over the waters. Later visit the Swami Vivekananda Memorial, Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Memorial & Sunset Point. Overnight stay at Kanyakumari.

DAY 10: Kanyakumari & Trivandrum Departure

After breakfast day at leisure. Afternoon check out from hotel & transfer to Trivendrum Airport / Railway station for onward journey.
