India Art and Culture Tour
India Art Tour with Taj Mahal gives you a wonderful opportunity to explore the rich architectural heritage, culture and traditions of the most famous historical cities of India: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Jodhpur, and Mandawa. This tour also includes visits and workshops at various local art-centers of the cities covered in the itinerary so that you can interact with the local artisans, understand their artistry, see their artworks in the making, and buy your favorite ones as souvenirs and gifts for your near and dear ones.
The India Art Tour with Taj Mahal starts with your arrival in New Delhi, the capital of India.
DAY 01: Arrival in New Delhi
On arrival at New Delhi, you will be welcomed by our local representative who will assist you to board a vehicle to our hotel. Change, wash and relax. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 02: New Delhi
After breakfast, go for a full-day sightseeing tour with our local guide who will take you to the Raj Ghat, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Chandni Chowk, and the Red Fort. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and comforting overnight stay.
DAY 03: New Delhi – Agra
Drive to Agra after breakfast. Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort in the afternoon and a local Rug Making factory in the evening. Interact with the craftsman, see the rug making process and buy one if you want to keep it as a souvenir or gift for your near and dear ones. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
DAY 04: Agra-Jaipur
Take your breakfast and drive to Jaipur. On the way, visit the Chand Baori, a stepwell situated in the village of Abhaneri which consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 05: Jaipur
Go for a morning heritage walk after the breakfast to explore the City Palace, Wind Palace, and Jantar Mantar. Return to our hotel in the afternoon, take rest and enjoy the Ayurvedic Massage followed by a complimentary Folk Night Dinner. Stay overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Jaipur
Go for a full-day local Indigo workshop after the breakfast, interact with the indigo craftsmen, learn how to dye with indigo, and experiment with the block print process to produce samples of different designs. Have lunch with the indigo craftsman and return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and comforting overnight stay.
Day 07: Jaipur
After breakfast, go to the Amber Fort, enjoy the Elephant ride. Enjoy your lunch in a local village and visit the Ghost City of Bhangarh: The most haunted place in India. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Jaipur
Take your breakfast and visit Artgem to shop your favorite gemstone jewelry. Walk down the local markets of Jaipur in the afternoon for more shopping. In the evening, visit the Monkey Temple. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: Jaipur-Pushkar
Drive to Pushkar after the Breakfast. Visit the Brahma Temple and enjoy the Desert Camel Safari in the afternoon. Return to our hotel in the evening for dinner and comforting overnight stay.
Day 10: Pushkar
After breakfast, attend the full day “Stitching Project” workshop. Interact with the local artisans, have lunch with them and learn how to make the fine hand-made textile products. Try your at stitching and buy your favorite handmade homewares, garments, quilts, and craft supplies if you want to keep them as a souvenir and gift them to your loved ones. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 11: Pushkar-Jodphur
Drive to Jodhpur after breakfast. Visit the Mehrangarh fort in the afternoon and walk down the lanes of the local markets of Jodhpur in the evening for shopping. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel
Day 12: Jodhpur-Mandawa
Take your breakfast and drive to Mandawa. Visit the Fort of Mandawa and its numerous fascinating mansions (havelis) that have lavishly painted walls. In the evening, return to the hotel for dinner and comforting overnight stay.
Day 13: Mandawa
After breakfast, attend a full-day tie and dye workshop of Disha Project. Interact with the local craftsman, enjoy the lunch and learn how they work. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Mandawa
Take your breakfast. Attend a workshop in miniature painting, interact with the local artists, learn their craftsmanship, appreciate their skills and buy their artwork if you want to keep them as a souvenir or gift them to your near and dear ones. Have your farewell dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 15: Mandawa-New Delhi
Drive back to New Delhi after the breakfast for your flight back home.
